It begins in the heart of Barichara, one of Colombia's most beautiful towns, with a walking tour through its cobblestone streets, artisan workshops, churches, and living stories that reveal the essence of its people. The journey continues along trails that connect the town center with the countryside. Through a guided walk, the
Visitors travel through rural landscapes, orchards, native trees and peasant houses, while the hosts share childhood stories, inherited knowledge and their relationship with the land.
Upon arriving in the rural area, a traditional chiva (a type of open-sided bus) picks up the group and continues along colorful, musical roads to a farm where the gastronomic experience unfolds. There, visitors are welcomed with warm hospitality and ancestral flavors: a lunch prepared over a wood fire, with traditional recipes that evoke family memories and celebrate rural cuisine. Afterward, a workshop on earth painting takes place, an ancestral artistic experience where participants create their own works using natural pigments extracted from the soil.
