The Coffee Tour at Finca Los Hoyos is an invitation to experience the complete artisanal process
coffee, from seed to cup, in a rural setting full of nature, history and
rural tradition. The experience begins with a guided walk through the coffee plantations, where visitors learn about the coffee varieties cultivated, the agroecological conditions of the land, and the planting methods. During the harvest season, participants can join in the manual picking of the ripe beans, accompanied by local coffee farmers who
They share their ancestral knowledge. Afterward, visitors enter the artisanal processing area, where they observe the processes of pulping, fermentation, washing, and natural sun-drying. The practices for storing and preserving the beans are explained, as well as the care and challenges of the coffee grower's craft. The next stage includes a roasting and grinding demonstration, in which visitors actively participate in coffee preparation using traditional methods such as a cloth filter, a traditional clay pot, or a French press. A guided tasting is then conducted to identify the aromas, flavors, and profiles of the coffee.
Produced on the farm. To conclude the experience, a typical country lunch is offered, prepared with fresh ingredients and cooked over a wood fire. The menu highlights local products and is accompanied by a cup of specialty coffee, while enjoying the mountain scenery and rural hospitality. Includes:
